Going the extra mile for justice
Supreme Law Solicitors will always go the extra mile to achieve justice for its clients. Recently, we represented a father in Care proceedings and facing possible adoption of his young son. This father had done little wrong but admittedly there were difficulties within the extended family that needed to be addressed. The Local Authority and ultimately the Magistrates Court were unwilling to allow our client the time to address the difficulties and the Court made Orders allowing the Local Authority to place this child for adoption.
We appealed first to the County Court and when that failed, to the Court of Appeal. Our Appeal was allowed and finally this child has been allowed to return to his birth parents. Given the importance of the principles established in this case, it has been reported to ensure that the guidance provided in this case is followed and analysed in the articles below.
